When I need a quick fix of the pure joy of spontaneous creating I go to my “Happy Place.” In my happy place I paint rocks, paint wet-on-wet watercolors,
paint with “nature’s paint brushes” (such as branches and sticks) and more. The immediate gratification of watching paint colors flow into each other
or watching a fun design appear quickly on a humble rock is joyful.
Being able to share that joy with friends and neighbors is even better. During some of the months of COVID, I hosted socially distanced rock painting in my back yard for friends and neighbors. I plan to offer more fun art making experiences in the future. Please contact me if you are interested and are in the area.
